We have a passion for wines from archetypal regions: Bordeaux for reds and Burgundy for whites. Wine has been perfected in these areas for centuries. In the traditional way and from father to son. People know exactly which grape should go where, and how it should be treated. In order to create very exclusive wines again and again; even when there is a season with less favorable conditions.
These wines are limited in availability and usually handsomely priced. That is why the Amsterdam Wijnkoperij seeks artisanal quality worldwide. We travel regularly to meet the farmers, see the terroir and taste the wines in production. This allows us to offer a unique assortment of quality wines in different price ranges.

Originally, we are restaurateurs and sommeliers. We know what is important to both the host, operator and sommelier. From our passion for wine, we are close to both the winemaker and fellow wine suppliers. Our wine selection is both accessible and surprising, as well as appealing to the connoisseur. We serve consumers directly from our web shop. We also assist with wine cellar setup and buyouts.
