This is such a Top Bourgogne, even styled a la Meursault, with beautiful thick fruit and framed with beautiful citrus. Almost exotic in character.
Burgundy is the most beautiful white wine region in the world due to its complexity, aging potential and the sheer richness of the terroir.

The taste is creamy and full, without pronounced wood in the taste. In terms of quality, all major wine regions agree that 2016 is an absolutely exclusive vintage. Optimal ripeness for superior wines was noted in Burgundy, such as with this Baroness Rosalie. That means consistent quality and excellent concentration. Our advice: buy quite a bit of Burgundy 2016 while you still can and put it away for a few years. Climate change makes every harvest more uncertain. Looking at the 2017 harvest, we see quantitative losses of up to 70% in some areas. A period of Burgundy scarcity, especially for white, seems to have arrived.
