Pouilly Fumé

The soil in Pouilly fume is lime marl and the vineyard is filled with 45 year old vines of Sauvignon Blanc. A full, pure Pouilly with aromas of daisies, apple, lemon and lychee. The Sancerre is a distinct Sauvignon Blanc with some gooseberry in the scent. Nice flint dry and not too floral. The terroir gives him extra spice. The wine is aged for 9 months in stainless steel barrels. Pinot Noir is the well-known grape from Burgundy, but can also produce beautiful wines in a cool climate such as in Sancerre. The Sancerre Rouge stands for a Pinot Noir full of character with delicious red and black fruit in aroma and attack. Mild acids, subtle oak and soft tannins make this wine a particularly beautiful whole.
